With Moheti, I have 2 goals:
- To give you the thoughts and strategies you need to improve yourself and your life situation;
- To inspire, motivate, and put you in the right mindset to implement these thoughts and strategies immediately.
This blog will not cover spiritual topics, unless they have a practical application. Instead, it will focus on helping you remove negative habits and influences from your life and replacing them with positive ones.
By negative, I mean anything that’s damaging the quality of your life and taking you farther away from your goals (ex. alcohol, sugar, TV, negative friends, poor habits, etc.). By positive, I mean anything that enhances your life experience and brings you closer to your goals.
There are 3 main variables which limit the quality of your life and your ability to accomplish goals:
– Time (controlled through time management),
– Energy (improved by managing your physical and mental health),
– Resources (most of them easily acquired with sufficient money).
Think about it! To accomplish anything in life, you’ll need sufficient time to accomplish it. You’ll need energy to get out of bed, to think, to take the required actions. Finally, you’ll need resources, such as food, a car, mentors, books, etc.
The less time you have, the more energy and resources you’ll need. Ex. To shorten the time it takes you to get to work, you’ll have to spend energy moving faster, and organizing your schedule. You may also decide grab your car, using resources such as gasoline.
The less energy you have, the more time and resources you need. Ex. If you’ve caught a cold and are feeling low energy, you will use more time to get changed, get in your car, and drive to work. You may also need to spend money on pills, bother friends and family, or call a cab.
The less resources you have, the more time and energy you need. Ex. If you do not own a car and cannot afford a cab, you’ll have to walk to work or take a bus. This will take you far more time, and you’ll arrive tired after spending your energy on the commute.
Take a moment to think of how these three factors affect the speed at which you achieve your goals. How do they affect your progress when trying to learn piano, lose 10 pounds, or find a spouse?
Optimize the Three!
To vastly improve the speed at which you achieve or obtain anything, all you have to do is optimize and / or increase your time, energy and resources. This blog will give you the strategies to do so and motivate you to take action.
If you have a goal you are passionate about or are passionate about finding a goal worth getting passionate about, this blog is for you. I encourage you to read it, not as a solution to your problem, but as a way to find the solution 10 times faster.
We’ll all be dead soon, too many of us before accomplishing our dreams or even finding one. So, I beg you not to waste more of your time. Treasure this moment. Use it like it matters, because you know it actually does!
If you feel stuck or have a question I may be able to answer, please ask it in the comment section of any blog post or page, including this one. I’d love to help you.
If there’s something you’ve been putting off, do yourself a service and take care of it now. After it’s done, and you have a moment not cluttered by worries and unresolved tasks, I’d be honored to hear about it.
In the meantime, welcome to the Moheti!
